I do not shoot 100’s of weddings a year!

I respect my time, but I also respect yours.

Shooting around 15 - 20 couples a year gives me the creative time to breathe in between weddings. It allows me to spend time getting to know you, learning about your day, and what makes you guys get outta’ bed in the morning.

By the time that your wedding day is upon us, we will have built up a good relationship.

I’ll be able to draw on my knowledge of you as a couple, to help relax and guide you through the day.

Shooting a pre determined number of weddings per year also means that I know I will be able to turn up to your wedding day refreshed, positive, and ready to create with you.

Although I am there to do a job, it’s so much more than that.

It’s the culmination of years of planning, prepping, organising, creating, envisioning and all the other important stuff that goes into your day.

This is what I mean when I say “I respect your time.”

It’s not just the time you hire me for, it’s the years that have lead up to your day.

Each wedding I shoot is also important to me, and I take my time putting your final gallery together into a cohesive story.

So, what am I paying for?

Years of experience and expertise in capturing “the moment.”

I’m not just talking the main moments like your first kiss, popping your first bottle of champagne, the perfect confetti shot (or graffiti shot as my wifey called it…)

I’m talking about the in-between, quiet moments. The moments that you don’t know are happening, and will explore for the first time on viewing your gallery.

Backups backups backups!

There’s no real re-dos for a real wedding day.

I shoot on cameras that have 2 card slots, so I’m backing up as I shoot.

When I get home from your day, or as I’m travelling back, I am backing up your wedding immediately onto multiple hard drives to ensure that your images are safe.

With my experience, I’m also able to shoot in almost any given situation.

Blizzards, and a tiny hundreds of years old church with only candles and small windows in Iceland?

Old movie theatres with little to no light and 100 guests?

Sweeping meadows?

The deserts in Vegas?

Dilapidated churches?

Torrential rain?

Every image on my website or Instagram, is of real people, from real weddings.

I don’t do styled shoots with models and a full team to produce wedding editorials.

I don’t think there’s anything particularly wrong with those, but I want my images to be a true representation and reflection of what you, and your wedding will look like.
